1. About Archevot

Archevot is an AI-powered task breakdown and wellbeing application designed to help users manage overwhelm, break down goals into actionable steps, and support mental clarity. It is intended as a productivity tool and does not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

2. Not a Medical or Therapeutic Service

Archevot is a productivity and wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device, a mental health service, or a substitute for professional psychological or psychiatric care.

The AI personas within Archevot are inspired by therapeutic frameworks for educational and reflective purposes only. They are not qualified therapists, counsellors, or medical professionals, and their responses should not be treated as clinical advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Archevot. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian. By using the app, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement.

4. Free Trial and Paid Access

Archevot offers a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card or payment details are required to start the free trial.

After the trial period, continued access requires a one-time payment of £79.99. This is a one-time charge with no recurring fees or subscriptions.

The one-time payment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the full version of Archevot indefinitely, including future updates to the app.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the product and the 30-day free trial provided prior to purchase, we do not offer refunds once payment has been made, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable law, please contact us at support@archevot.com within 14 days of your purchase.

6. Third-Party AI Services

Archevot uses third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) to power its task generation and chat features. By using these features, you agree that your inputs will be processed by the relevant third-party provider.

You are responsible for your own API key usage and any associated costs charged by the AI provider. Archevot is not responsible for any charges, outages, or changes to third-party AI services.

AI-generated content is produced automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. You should use your own judgement when acting on AI-generated task suggestions.

7. Demo Mode

Demo Mode allows you to try Archevot without an API key, with a limit of 5 task breakdowns per day. In Demo Mode, all responses are generic and pre-set. They are not personalised to your input and should not be relied upon for any specific planning or decision-making.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Archevot to:

• Generate harmful, abusive, discriminatory or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the app without permission
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
• Circumvent any usage limits, paywalls, or security features
• Provide false information in order to gain access to features

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user found to be in breach of these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding and materials within Archevot are the intellectual property of the Archevot developer. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Content you create within the app (your tasks, journal entries, conversations) remains yours. You retain full ownership of your own data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Archevot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the app or its AI-generated content.

We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Archevot and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or this page. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
